How do I make a tattoo booking?

Either call the shop, email, direct message us on our Facebook page or pop into the studio and say Hi! We don’t respond via Instagram DM’s. Generally, most of our artists use our shop email address and we converse with your desired artist via your chosen method.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, we require a deposit for all bookings. It will range from $50-$300 depending on your tattoo size and time it takes to execute.

What is the best payment method?

We accept EFTPOS/bank transfers for all bookings and deposits but request cash for the remaining balance of your tattoo.

Where can I park?

There is a large carpark directly across the laneway from us which costs $7 maximum for a full day. Access via Chapel street next to the Paint Spot store.

Is there anyone you can’t tattoo?

We will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 (even with parents’ consent), pregnant women, anyone with highly transmittable diseases or anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

 

 

Do your artists do cover-ups?

Yes, we do, however, we will have to look at the existing tattoo before we can advise you of the best approach. In some cases, we will recommend the use of laser tattoo removal in order to lighten it up enough to rework.

Can you rework/finish my old tattoo?

Generally, we do not add onto or touch other artists work as we uphold a very high standard of tattooing. However, we always encourage you to enquire and send an image through of the tattoo. The decision to take on the job is left up to our artists.

How long is the waiting period?

It could be anywhere from 1 day to 3 months. It does vary greatly depending on the tattoo artist, the time of the year and their personal availability in general. We don’t like booking anything in more than 3 months ahead as we cannot predict certain circumstances which may affect your booking.
